1964 May Rev. Prof. K.C. Mathew is appointed Principal to start the work on the proposed Junior College at Mavelikara
1964 June University of Kerala gives provisional sanction to start four Science and two Arts batches of the Pre-Degree Course.
1964 July 6 Classes begin in thatched sheds. 19 Teachers and 469 students admitted. The inaugural function presided over by the Vice- Chancellor, University of Kerala
1966 November Formal opening of the main building of the college by His Excellency Dr. P.V. Cherian, the Governor of Maharashtra.
1967-68 Degree courses sanctioned in English, Malayalam, Economics, Physics, Zoology and Mathematics
1969 Sr. Edith Neve lays the foundation of the ladies Hostel
1972 Ladies Hostel Completed
1976 Principals Quarters completed and named “Moore House”
1977 Bishop John Robinson, Dean of the Chapel, Trinity College, Cambridge dedicates the Men’s Hostel.
1982 Bishop Moore College Becomes a Post Graduate College. M.Sc in Physics started.
1986 The Rt. Rev. Dr. Donald Coggan, former Arch-Bishop of Canterbury laid the foundation stone of the Silver Jubilee Auditorium. College Library shifted to New Library building
1988 The Silver Jubilee celebration declared open by the Governor of Kerala, Her Excellency Mrs. Ram Dulari Sinha.
1990 Foundation stone laid for the construction of a Football stadium on the eastern part of the college.
1993 Women’s Lounge constructed
1995 New block with 3 classrooms completed opposite to the library
2001 Bishop Moore Community and Counseling Centre declared open by the Dr. B. Ekbal, Vice-Chancellor of Kerala University
2004 College is accredited by NAAC at B++ level.
2006 All the Departments Computerized
2007 Broadband Internet Connectivity in all Departments
2010 Reaccredited by NAAC with B grade with a CGPA of 2.81
2013 Inauguration of Golden Jubilee Celebrations by Hon’ble Governor of Kerala Sri. Nikhil Kumar. Physics Department elevated to a Research Centre.
2014 Golden Jubilee block completed on the top of the block opposite to the library. Chapel and Meditation Centre (Jubilee Project) completed B.Com with Computer Application begins. Lt. Dr. D. Sajan is elected to the Senate of the University of Kerala.
2015 Valedictory function of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations is held.The Golden Jubilee Gate, Chapel and Parking area are dedicated.The College becomes an Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) Institution. The ASAP TPS Programme run by the College was awarded the Certificate of Excellence with four stars by the Higher Education Department. A Computer Lab for B. Com course is opened.
2016 An initiative to foster social responsibility among students named "STARS" (Students and Alumni for a Responsible Society) was inaugurated.
